Today in Math we started our review of angles. I did really well on this in grade 9 and I find it easy, so I was excited to start this unit. Mrs S. talked about how we can find angles everywhere in our daily lives. We were asked to find a real life example of an angle and then tomorrow in class we are going to work on measuring them. First, I thought of a clock. Everytime you look at a clock you see an angle.
But then I decided that this would be too easy.
So I found this picture. There are 5 different sails, all with 3 or more angles to measure. There is also the bottom of the boat. I'll have to ask Mrs S. if those angles could be measured.

Great picture. The bottom of your boat actually has an arc, not an angle. We will be working on measuring those later on this year.
